I bought version 5 of this over a year ago, hoping to have a great resource...
ReplyDeleteHorrible software, customer service is worse. I am VERY disappointed. Very frustrating to "try" to use.
5th edition and they can't make the menus work? When in Schematics, ammo, targets, or FFL, the top menu doesn't work. I have to close the program and start again. Scroll bars don't scroll visually so you have to "guess" when to stop scrolling, mouse wheel in the lists is ?? Mouse wheel will not scroll the schematics. There is no way to scale the size of the schematics, you are stuck with the crappy scrolling on pictures that are WAY too big. Schematics are available on the internet for free usually...
The guns currently on my bench aren't in the schematics - Marlin 700, Browning Buckmark, Stevens 1915, Armas Erbi, S&W 642, yes, i know the 642 is similar to others. Information like trigger pull, length of pull and other types of information is missing from a LOT of guns. Incorrect picture for Beretta 92 FS INOX, the picture shown is a Vertec, The Vertec isn't listed, The Brigadier is also not listed. 2
Operation is clunky and slow. I had high hopes for this but it feels rushed, and like it was put together by a novice programmer. This disc is NOT worth $40, $10 maybe.
I tried every available venue to TRY to get some help from these people, Not one response, Until (a year later) I got an email asking me to pay MORE money to use their online service?? Really?? I responded to THAT email with my issues and asked for a refund. I got the standard canned response that "once you open a DVD you can't get a refund, go to Best Buy if you don't believe us." DO NOT BUY.
